A unique, specialized collection
Close to 190 libraries throughout the world receive free copies of IIEP's publications
In a number of developing countries it is increasingly difficult to obtain specialized books on education.
Therefore, since the 1990's the IIEP has striven to build up a network of 'depository libraries'.
These libraries are found in education ministries, universities, partner agencies, UNESCO offices…
They are located mainly in developing countries: half of them in Africa, 30 in Asia and the Pacific, 30 in Latin America and the Caribbean and about 20 in Arab states.
